Lisa Marshall CEO of Fighting Homelessness will join us for an inspiring discussion about the causes and resolutions for Homelessness.
At Fighting Homelessness, we are a nonprofit organization committed to uncovering and addressing the root causes of homelessness. Our mission is to identify and challenge city, state, and federal policies that perpetuate homelessness, and to propose effective solutions for change. We focus on systemic issues, such as outdated criminal justice policies, inefficiencies within government agencies, the limitations of the housing first model, the scarcity of affordable housing, and the misallocation of government funds.
Our dedicated team of passionate individuals strives to make a meaningful impact in our community. We provide a range of services aimed at ending homelessness, including outreach, education, and advocacy. The support and feedback from our community are essential to our success in achieving this mission. Join us for a delicious breakfast, hot coffee, warm conversation, and a stimulating program. We will be working registration and bid spotters. Nothing difficult.
This sounds fun and we get to taste some interesting creations....

Hi All, Yes, I know we just did the Trains at NortPark, but Angel tree is a special event for the whole community!!!! We need 5-6 volunteers to help with this event. This is one of our annual events. We are back at NorthPark for Angel Tree 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Who knows you might want to pick up an angel or two. Let me know if you are going to attend.
