Event of the Week - Pancake Breakfast to Honor First Responders
Our Rotary club worked with the Addison midday club to serve breakfast last Saturday at Addison Fire Station 2 to honor first responders and veterans.  Other community members were welcome as well for a small charge. Funds raised will go to Santa's Heroes.  Can you tell who the Rotarian hiding behind the flapjack is?

        Notes From David...

We are creating a recruiting video for our club. This will mostly be a copy of a video that another club created that was VERY successful for them. I heard about this from a club president while at the International Convention in Singapore. It worked so well for them that they had to turn it off for a while to manage all the people who wanted to join. Nice problem to have, right? Not sure that it will work that well for us, but we should try it.

Here's the important info: It's short video, but it will feature our members. I hope we can shoot the video in our meeting room right after our meeting on November 22. We need 24 or more members there for the shoot. It will likely take a couple of hours after our meeting to complete the shoot. It's not difficult; you'll get a very short script to say in front of the camera. Two sentences! After your shot you can leave.

Sam Bowser was a guest last week and said he would like to join. He was impressed and felt very welcomed. If you have friends or colleagues that would benefit from a membership, please invite them to attend It will be good for them! (And good for us!)

A shout out of thanks Dan Tatum and Martha Cox: Not only are they hosting us for a holiday party, but they have been responsible for a great series of programs for our weekly meeting. Thank you both!

See you all Friday!

Make it a great day!
