This Week's Program:

Scott Bennett

Our program this week will be a conversation with Scott Bennett. Scott received a heart transplant in 2023 and is going to tell us about that and about the positive and transformative changes he has made since then.

BIO: Scott Bennett is a lifelong resident of Dallas, Texas. He is also a blessed recipient of a life-saving heart transplant in the spring of 2023. As a professional, he has had a successful career working for a variety of organizations in enterprise sales leadership and as an entrepreneur as a Cofounder of Skratch, a teen workforce mobile application. He is currently the founder of his own advocacy and coaching platform Heart of It Strategies, and a Commercial Insurance Advisor at Marsh McClennan Agencies. Scott also serves as a strategic advisor to multiple early-stage companies including HI Five, Trustworthy, Connected Faith Strategies and KidGigs. Scott is often referred to as a "Super Connector" - always hyper-focused on the importance of building deep trusted relationships.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He loves golf, yoga, and biking. Scott is a big fan of live music and seeing as many movies as possible. Scott dedicates time to various philanthropic organizations. He is a BIG BROTHER, a Hero for Genesis Women's Shelter, involved with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Southwest Transplant Alliance. He also serves on the Advisory Board of Texas Cowboys and Dallas Israel Bonds.

With everything Scott has experienced, he has a fascinating story to share and an inspiring perspective on life. He lives by a very simple mantra "Count Every Day!"

Notes From David...

Three quick items:

1. We are going to induct Taylor Meek into our club this Friday. It's wonderful to have a new member, and it's terrific that Taylor will be extending on his father's legacy with the club.

2. I picked up the rest of our stuff that was in storage at Maguire's. It's time to do a little house cleaning! I'll bring some items in and hopefully we can get rid of some of it or find a better storage location.

3. I'd like to create a series of short individual videos, featuring our members, talking about why they are members of our club. Nothing complex. I'll be in touch.

Make it a great day!
