The Addison Rotary Club proudly presented the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas (RMHD) with a check for $285,000, the proceeds from the 2025 Addison Rotary Open, which included a golf tournament, online auction, and raffle. This year’s total set a new fundraising record, surpassing last year’s record-setting donation of $216,000.

“This incredible outcome was truly a team effort,” said Greg Grimm, Chair of the Addison Rotary Open. “Every Addison Rotarian gave their all—raising funds, volunteering, and making the event shine. We were joined by amazing sponsors, and the Ronald McDonald House board and staff went above and beyond to help us succeed. Most importantly, our community—especially the golfers and donors—rallied behind this cause in a big way.”

David Heimer, President of the Addison Rotary Club, added: “This is a particularly impressive result for a small Rotary Club like ours, with only 39 members. It shows what’s possible when a group of committed people come together with passion, purpose, and a shared desire to serve others. I couldn’t be prouder of what our club and community accomplished together.”

Representing RMHD, Jill Cumnock, CEO, expressed her gratitude: “This is so impressive, very much appreciated, and makes such an impact on Ronald McDonald House Dallas and the families we serve. We’re deeply thankful for the Addison Rotary Club’s continued commitment to helping us keep families close during challenging times.”

The Addison Rotary Open has become one of the premier charitable golf events in North Texas, combining fun, fellowship, and philanthropy to support children and families in need.
