The Addison Rotary Club proudly donated 10 innovative Language Learning Systems to the Anne Frank Elementary School to empower parents in supporting their children's education. With a student body from 60 countries and 24 languages, this initiative bridges language gaps and fosters a more inclusive learning environment.
Each "Language Learning System" has a chromebook, a headset with a noise-canceling mic, a license for Rosetta Stone, a carrying case, a mouse, and a power adapter.

This was a sentimental return to the Anne Frank Elementary School for the Addison Rotarians. In 2002 the Addison Rotary Club worked with the Anne Frank Elementary School to create the "Rotary Multicultural Center" at the school. As part of that project, the Addison Rotary donated the first computers for student use at the school. Assistant Area Governor John Johnstone spearheaded the original computer project as a member of the Addison Rotary, and joined the Addison Rotary for the presentation of the Language Learning systems. David Heimer, President of the Addison Rotary presented the systems to Principal Beverly Mullins Ford, Community Liaison Melissa Martinez, and a select group of parents. Heimer spoke about the power of diversity, the unique position of the Anne Frank Elementary School, and the Addison Rotary Club's desire to do more projects in support of the Anne Frank Elementary School.
Attending the presentation from the Addison Rotary club were Public Relations Chair Chartell Brown, Bulletin Editor Laurie Sutor, President David Heimer, Assistant Area Governor John Johnstone, and Service Chair Mike Pugh.
